This summer (2017) sees the return of a series of concerts in West Cork by Barefoot Baroque, a trio featuring Katy Salvidge on baroque recorder and harp, Justin Grounds on baroque violin and Tess Leak on cello. The trio began their annual tour of baroque concerts in informal spaces in 2016, bringing the vibrancy and richness of 17th century music to audiences across the islands and towns of West Cork.

This year I’m joining the trio to add my voice to arias by Handel, Bach and Purcell, as well as some of the lesser known experimental pieces of the era, the concerts promise to enliven and inspire. All welcome, entry by donation.

Glen Hansard, a long-time fan of Interference and Fergus O’Farrell, fronted the band for most of the evening. Alongside Camilla was; Maurice Seezer, Paul Tiernan, John Fitzgerald, James O’Leary, Anthony Noonan, Marja Gaynor & Bertrand Galen.
