Sunny Sunday in West Cork…walk on the beach, coffees onboard a friends boat, a quick pint at Hackett’s …where local legend singer/songwriter and neighbour was sharing his beautiful songs..so got to end a stunning day doing what I love; singing and happily harmonising! Grateful for the mighty craic!

Hello & Welcome to my new website & blog!

I am launching this as the days are getting darker and colder here in West Cork, amplifying the bleakness in the continuous reports of severe weather changes and crashing economies all over the world …. Yet I’m feeling a great fire starting, flames of purity, beauty & joy celebrating our different strengths and gifts, generously and bravely expressed, warming & lighting up real or imagined darkness.

My contribution is singing, a craft I have been intimately involved with my whole life. I share my experience through performance and as a vocal coach. It is a passionate and intimate relationship, one that has brought me endless joy and fulfillment, but perhaps most importantly has taught me countless profound life lessons.

Here’s how my brave new world is taking shape:

It’s a great priviledge to have the trust of my students to guide them in their quest to finding their own true voice and expressing that voice with confidence.

Here you can listen to music and watch videos from a selection of the weird and wonderful projects I have been involved in over the years. New ones will be added as they happen and past projects as they are unearthed.

I used to be very uncomfortable being photographed….and then even more uncomfortable with the results. Artist and Photographer Jason Lee has transformed my discomfort with his knack of being nearly invisible when photographing. Thank you Jason for your x-ray vision that captures the pure drop and your impressive committment to making art, it is contagious!
